The New Year sees three brand new models of the Seiki valve gate hot runner system, all incorporating Seiki’s independent gate heater technology. Previously only available on larger hot runner systems; this change has been led by customer demand for these compact valve gates designed specifically for small multi-cavity tools.
This advancement gives these hot runners an edge helping businesses become more efficient and cost effective. With a more uniform temperature profile through the melt channel helps eliminate hot spots and the associated material degradation. These hot runner systems will allow users to achieve the highest possible results, particularly when moulding difficult engineering plastics.

This week our managing director, Chris Siddall, wrote a feature for British Plastics and Rubber – the monthly magazine for Britain’s polymer processors.

He elaborates on how our research improved our hot runner design reducing material degradation issues, helping to optimise production quality and increase output.
